The one-story L-shaped motel had a dozen rooms with an office in the center courtyard. In April of 1999, at least one boxing match was held there. Not hardly. Built in early 1850's this three storey red brick hotel was one of five hotels in the small rural Ontario town. Before the senior living development was approved, other potential buyers suggested turning the cylindrical tower into a giant Coca-Cola can, apartments, condos, a hotel, student housing or self-storage units.
